Church of the Righteous Blade

The two-story Church of Bahamut, its white marble walls suffused with veins of vivid blue, stands in stark contrast to the buildings of bare black stone that flank it on the north end of Obsidian Avenue. A pair of white marble statues depicting proud dragons stands on either side of the temple’s heavy oaken doors. Each statue raises its head skyward.

The church has suffered much tragedy recently. When returning from Sasserine, the church’s high priest, Sarcem Delasharn, was murdered as part of a plot to blackmail and ruin Cauldron. This elevated priestess Jenya Urikas to the position of running the church.

Only week’s later, the church’s leading paladin, Alek Tercival, went missing. A group of local heroes went in search of him, but were unable to prevent his demise at the hands of the demon, Nabthatoron.
